About Practical Sales & Marketing

Ken Wheeler

Ken Wheeler has worked in senior management positions in both industry and commerce, latterly as marketing director and national accounts director for several companies within the Johnson Service Group PLC.
He has worked as a consultant to several commercial laundries and various companies within the construction, software development, manufacturing and hospitality industries.

Ken was a founder partner, then director of a rapidly growing estate agency within the south east that was purchased by Nationwide Building Society in 1987. He subsequently served on the southern regional board.
Ken’s unique style enables him to quickly assess a company’s position in the market they are in, to produce recommendations and to work with the senior management to grow the business. He will represent the business at all levels and is totally results driven.

Alison Graham

Alison GrahamAlison Graham has worked in a variety of roles encompassing Sales, Marketing and Customer Service and she has been a Directors PA. She is skilled in Market Research and Development, PR, Telemarketing and Direct Mail.

She is extremely innovative, and often unorthodox, in her ideas which are proved to work again and again.

Given an overview of the Company, Alison will quickly determine their position within the market place and contribute to a fun profile for future development.

Roger Hooper

Roger Hooper - Sales ManagerRoger has spent the whole of his working life in sales, starting off in Industry before moving to the Service Sector spending almost 30 years as an Estate Agent, latterly with his own business.

Later he worked as a Sales Executive and Regional Sales Manager for 2 national laundries before retiring in November 2008.

However Roger has missed the challenges and competitiveness of business life and we are delighted that he has decided to join us at Practical Sales & Marketing. This is an extension of a business relationship and friendship which covers well over 30 years.

“When I was a little boy amongst my lead soldiers and farm animals was a small milkman. My father told me that he was the “Idea Man” so we used to consult him when we ran out of things to do. The ideas that purported to come from him are legion. I still have the “Idea Man”, although the white paint has long since worn off, and I often think of those far off childhood days and the adventures that started with him.“When I was a little boy amongst my lead soldiers and farm animals was a small milkman.  My father told me that he was the “Idea Man” so we used to consult him when we ran out of things to do.

Now I see myself in the role of original “Idea Man”, not only for my grand children, but also for many clients past and present. I do hope that you will choose to tap into the “Idea” culture.
